SOS Energy Express specializes in refueling merchant ships that dock in Israel and sail abroad. Refueling is carried out with an exemption from excise tax on fuel intended for a specific purpose in accordance with Section 9 of the Excise on Fuel Law -1958, and Section 3A (3) of the Excise on Fuel (Exemption and Overcharging) Law -2005 For the transportation of passengers or goods … on international routes departing from a port in Israel and arriving at a port outside of Israel) and with the approval of the Israel Tax Authority. Refueling is carried out by road tankers, at short notice at all Israeli ports. The service is provided to customers both directly and through ship agents. The types of fuel provided by SOS EnergyExpress for this purpose are:

• DIESEL FUEL 10PPM
• MGO – Marine Gas Oil: a distillate fuel oil – No. 2, Bunker A
• MDO – Marine Diesel Oil: a blend of MGO and HFO
• IFO – Intermediate Fuel Oil: a blend of MGO and HFO, with less gasoil than MDO
• MFO – Medium Fuel Oil: a blend of MGO and HFO, with less gasoil than IFO
• HFO – Heavy Fuel Oil: a residual fuel oil – No. 6, Bunker C
